Shewanna Livingston Inc an amazing Holistic Hair Salon supporting Cancer Survivors and Hair Loss Clients

Shewanna Livingston Inc is the life passion of Shewanna Livingston, a businesswoman and author of 42 books,  whose training in  naturopathy, ayurveda, sound healing, to name a few led her to launch the Holistic Hair Salon.

Shewanna described what inspired her to take this route. ”

“I was  working as a stylist and I had a large clientele of cancer survivors who were longing for their hair to come back. So I started studying the scientific nature of different herbs vitamins and oils and then I started to formulate different treatments pertaining to the different symptoms and conditions for each client. Who knew in the future in my clients will turn into my patients. I always was up for a challenge so when the clients told me that they went to several dermatologists and no hair could ever come back I was ready to start creating and helping them to get their hair back. I had several customers who allow me to test different treatments on them voluntarily and hopes to getting their hair to regrow and by 4 months everyone here was growing and I started growing hair that was stunted from over 20 years.”

What sort of treatments can you expect to receive at the Holistic Hair Salon?

“I offer all services my specialties are,  wedding services, cancer/leukemia hair loss services, alopecia, hair regrowth treatments, dreads, twists, tweed twine locks and various hairstyles. The Holistic Souls Hair Salon is a membership salon. With membership you have the freedom to purchase Shewanna Livingston products. Cosmetics, Hair Care , Skincare and Rejuvenating Creams . Shewanna Livingston products are for professionals. Members can receive instruction on products and they are able to purchase them. Some Saturday events there will be music and smoothies for samples. Members are welcomed to have complimentary food and beverages.

One of the modalities that I am licensed to do is scalp analysis.  I will look at lessions and skin irritations under the microscope to take a closer look at what it is that we’re dealing with, and then I will treat the patient accordingly. The treatments are non-invasive and they are harmless, some of them are forms of herbal teas, and most of them are oils mixed as a hot oil base treatment. I massage the treatment into the patient’s scalp then I manipulate the follicles to wake them up. Using the hot oil stimulates the follicles and it helps the bulbs to receive the oils. Most people remember someone giving their hair detailed styles and oiling their scalp and in their later years they stop oiling their scalp and then they get scales, dandruff, dry skin, alopecia and various skin conditions. I take it back to pampering the hair and giving it the oils it deserves. Nationality has nothing to do with oil. You still need oil growth treatments for your follicles to activate and grow longer.

I am teaching people how to love themselves more, spoil themselves and take more time with their eating habits to clear their skin, strengthen their body their immune system, and allow their hair to grow. Our hair and our skin is a reflection of our food intake. I’m just taking everybody back to the basics and helping them to build a foundation that they can trust and they can do it at home without me guiding them. In the past I’ve had patients who wanted to do more for their hair but couldn’t afford it, so that’s when I decided to start training my clients to take care of their hair. I’ll start it and I’ll get the ball rolling and then they can maintain it at home with their own so they can still have the same luxurious hair that they had in the salon. I don’t want them just to win because I’m doing it, I want them to win when they’re doing it too, so that’s what made me start teaching the stylist and the client. As a licensed instructor I instruct all of my stylists to make sure that they’re doing things to the code that I follow.

Then I sharpen them up to whatever skills that they have acquired as licensed stylists. Each stylist will go through my curriculum and will graduate with the Certification of Shewanna Livingston Products
Then that stylist can learn and grow and then go on and open up her own salon and she is allowed to purchase products for herself to use on her own clients as a Certified User of Shewanna Livingston Products.
