Tricia Johansson

I’m Tricia Johansson, or as the name I use online, Trix Joyce. I’m a 33-year-old spiritual philosopher currently studying at University of Sedona and UMS International (University of Metaphysical Sciences) and I’m currently doing my Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with a focus on Religious Studies and Metaphysics. I’m also studying Counselling Psychology, Life Coaching, different psychological therapies and Positive Psychology at various distance learning providers – some international and some from my country in Sweden. I’m also taking CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses at Centre of Excellence in Psychology and Neuropsychology.

I hold a diploma of higher education in Social Work from Distansinstitutet in Stockholm, Sweden, and another diploma in Traditional Illustration from Forsbergs School in Stockholm, Sweden. I have a few accredited certificates in life coaching as well, especially in the fields of CBT (cognitive behavior therapy), REBT (rational emotive behavior therapy), Art Therapy and Spiritual coaching. I was learning with Transformation Academy and their online learning platform is the one who have awarded me these certificates in coaching. Right now I’m working on my Master Certification in Life Coaching as well.

I have a big interest in alternative therapies and I don’t think evidence-based traditional therapy and holistic alternative therapy goes against each other at all. I think they very much can complement each other, and that’s why I’m study both holistic and spiritual approaches to therapy and evidence-based traditional approaches. I am, however, not a licensed therapist or psychologist since I don’t have a relevant degree in these fields nor have I a license. But I have knowledge in both holistic therapies and evidence-based therapies and my big passion is to combine the two fields to help others.

Another thing I’m working on is being a Reiki practitioner. I’m currently certified for level 1 and working on level 2. I’m also learning sound healing and advanced level crystal healing (I already have the foundational diploma). I’m also in the progress of completing my Angelic Healing Master/Teacher diploma since I have already earned both the foundational and advanced levels.
