Your Business must meet the following standards to qualify for accreditation.
Your Organization, Business, Charity, is committed to supporting humanity and/or the natural worlds in some way. You would probably be involved in any of the following industries: teaching, training, services, ethical/green products, charity work, lobbying, support services, campaigning to name a few.
Your Organization, Business, Charity, is committed to ethical practices and also has an expected standard of ethical conduct from staff, this should be demonstrated with a code of conduct and should be visible on your website or available on request, you will be asked for a copy of this or a link to it.
Your Organization, Business, Charity, seeks to create an environment that encourages and supports everyone to perform at their best, this may be reflected in opportunities for your staff to take part in training and performance reviews for staff. (note this does not need to be made available to us, we just need to know that you as an organisation support this ideology and you will be asked to confirm this in your certificate application)
Your Organization, Business, Charity, supports equal opportunities for all, this should be shown in recruitment and promotion opportunities. (note this does not need to be made available to us, we just need to know that you as an organisation support this ideology and you will be asked to confirm this in your certificate application)
Your Organization, Business, Charity, is committed to honesty and integrity in all aspects of the business. (note this does not need to be made available to us, we just need to know that you as an organisation support this ideology and you will be asked to confirm this in your certificate application)
Your Organization, Business, Charity, prides itself on the quality of products/services that you provide and seeks to maintain high standards in all that you do. Suggested ways that this may be demonstrated could be through, seeking customer feedback, or a customer support service, testing ie exams after training, compliance with industry standards etc. You will be asked to provide in writing how your organization monitors its standards. This should be no more than 250 words.
Your Organization etc has “green” practices and could include ie recycling, energy efficiency measures, waste reduction, online working, flexible working, sustainable procurement ie buying from ethically sourced suppliers, green transportation ie encouraging staff to come to work via bikes and public transport, carbon offsetting ie tree planting.
You will be asked to provide proof of the above when you apply for your Accredited Organization Certificate. We can help you with the wording.
Our Accredited Training Provider program is designed for those who want their training standards professionally accredited and want to refer to their courses as being recognized by us. They can use the IAOTH Training Provider logo on their certificates and can advertise that we accredit their training.
Our Accredited Organization program is for those who specifically want their ethical business practices recognized, in this instance they would not be able to refer to their training as being accredited by us but they would be able to use the Accredited Organization logo on their course certificates as well as in the rest of their advertising.
As a general guideline, to apply to join us as an Accredited Organization, the services that you offer should support humanity or the natural world in some way. We welcome organisations and charities from all over the world no matter where you are based or the language you speak. You will need to check that your operational practices, as outlined in our professional standards list, meets our requirements in order to refer to yourselves as an Accredited Organization. If you have any questions about what is required or how to word these we have a guide to completing your profile and examples of wording that you can use to meet these requirements.

Request your certificate and provide proof of the standards that we are requesting, which will be in the form of links or emailed documents.
Your accreditation will be exclusive to your business alone and if you own more than one business that you wish to be accredited you will need to fill out a separate registration form for it.
Once you have done this, we will review the information you have provided and, if everything is correct, we will confirm your status and issue your Accredited Organization Certificate within 4 days of receiving your completed certificate details.
Once you have received your certificate confirming your status you will be able to use the Accredited Organization logo on all your organizational materials and you will be able to refer to yourself as an Internationally Accredited organization. You must wait for this formal certificate before advertising yourselves as being accredited by us.

There is an annual fee to pay to maintain your status, it is currently $199 USD it is possible to pay using monthly installments at $18.50 USD per month, if you wish to use this option please get in touch at support@iaoth.org as we will need to send you an invoice to set this up.
